Half a Century of Passion, Craftsmanship & Vision
What began as a small Asia oriented grocery and gift store in the heart of Amsterdam has grown into CNB Enterprises BV, an internationally respected company based in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. Founded by Linda Klinkenberg, a true pioneer in import and trade, CNB has always stood for entrepreneurship, quality, and innovation.
From Roots to Global Reach
Linda’s journey started with the import of Asian healthcare products and quickly expanded to refined porcelain from Japan and China. Her eye for beauty and strong relationships with manufacturers laid the foundation for many distinctive and timeless tableware collections.
With the joining of her son Daniel in 1996, CNB entered a new chapter. Under his leadership, the company launched Tokyo Design Studio, a brand now available in stores across Europe and beyond, in over 50 countries worldwide.

Daniel Boesten
As CEO of CNB Enterprises BV, Daniel Boesten is a charismatic and driven leader with a deep understanding of every aspect of the company. Known for his creativity and customer-focused mindset, he constantly seeks new ways to elevate the customer experience.
Daniel is future-oriented, consistently investing in long-term growth whether through IT, photography or relationship building. He strongly believes in the power of lasting partnerships and values the people behind the business just as much as the business itself. He’s a natural problem-solver who sees opportunities where others see challenges.
His energy and optimism are contagious, inspiring those around him to think bigger and go further. A true lover of life, Daniel brings passion not only to the business, but to every experience, making him a leader people trust, respect, and enjoy working with.

Linda Klinkenberg
More than fifty years ago, Linda Klinkenberg opened a small Asian grocery store in the heart of Amsterdam. What began as a modest venture grew—through her vision, courage, and perseverance—into the international company known today as CNB Enterprises BV.
Linda specialized in importing Asian health products, but her curiosity and ambition took her further. She attended trade fairs, built strong relationships with manufacturers in Japan and China, and introduced refined porcelain and tableware to the European market. This marked the foundation of what would later become Tokyo Design Studio – a brand now known for quality, craftsmanship, and elegance. Her entrepreneurial spirit was matched by a gift for seeing opportunities and bridging cultures. Through her dedication, CNB evolved into a thriving family business with international reach.
Linda passed away in February 2023, but her influence lives on in every part of CNB Enterprises BV. Her husband Pieter, their sons, and the entire team continue to carry forward her vision. Linda’s legacy is one of boldness, refinement, and determination – values that remain at the heart of the company she built.
